The trailhead is in the jucntion between the park entrance and the residential area on Wells Drive... Look for the fire lane (or something similar) in between. You will miss it if you enter to the park

Watch out for fleas and tape worms. My dogs got infected over there.

but we had a hard time finding any sort of trail ... though we did see people up on the ridge above. they must have gone off-roading it somewhere.
