  • ZacharySzczer  - Not for hiking, but adventure
I visited this trail on Saturday, April 23. 2011. The weather was 65, Sunny, with a light breeze. The fire road leads down from the main road. The entrance is off of Paseo Del Mar. There were a lot of surfers going down to catch some of the breaks the cove type of surrounding offers.
The fire road was maybe 1/4-1/2 mile long. Easy terrain, but once you get to the base, the terrain becomes more of a challenge and less enjoyable. The entire area around the water is covered by round river rock. When you are walking you have to constantly look down and see where you are stepping as the ground is covered by rock and boulders.
If you like to climb on rock structures this is a pretty cool area. I would say this is more of an adventure area than a hiking trail.
