I havent been on the trail in over year, due to me moving a tad far away. Awesome 5.3 mile jog, elevation is a killer.

Has anyone seen a bear on this trail? There were signs posted saying something about bee and wasp nets being disturbed by a bear.

Great hike. You can see Santa Clarita for part of it, but mostly out of the view of the city. I do this one routinely, trying to break my personal time record. It is a bummer to hike after a rain. It is 5.3 miles to do the loop according to my GPS. Check out the tar pits and two hundred foot rock cliffs! - Josh - rating:4 stars - 2008-01-07
