Road is NOT closed, it's just tricky to get to. Take Valley Circle along the Chatsworth reservoir, turn onto Woolsey Canyon (you can only go one direction.) Drive 2.5 miles and turn right on Black Canyon Road. If you take the wrong road you run into gated drives because the propery borders on the Rocketdyne plant. There is also a group camping site here which we used to go to as Girl Scouts. It's very private and secluded yet minutes away from civilization. - guest - rating:4 stars - 2007-03-30
