Pros- On a clear day you can see downtown, SFV, and Ocean.

Cons- lots of dog poop. Many dog owners are cool but some are like fanatical helicopter parents.

went yesterday with my two yellow labs.... scariest moment of my life when we saw 3 well sized coyotes tracking us.... put my dogs on leash immediately.... yelled .... found 2 bikers and jogged with them in a "pack" to near the parking lot. Had no idea what to do.

I think I am a bit spoiled as a result of my dislike for this hike. There is absolutely no shade at all and the bugs were crazy aggressive. It was just a boring large fire lane path with a few off shoots but nothing amazing. The view could be spectacular on a clear day, that was the only positive part of this hike.
