There is only one parking lot that has room for maybe 50 cars so if you don't get there early enough in the day there simply is NO parking. After searching for a parking space for 30 mins we gave up. Totally ruined the morning.

I was surprised by how fun this hike was. The first 1.5 miles are uphill so it definitely gets your heart beating. The rest of the way is relatively easy going. There are small trails that weave along side the fire road that are a bit more challenging than just walking on the road if you're looking for a more technical hike.

On a Sunday, parking (street) was pretty much filled up by 8am.

This hike 'killed" me - though I wasn't ready for this intense of an incline at the beginning! I am in need of taking more easy, family hikes before trying this one again..
