We love this hike, at least couple times a week we take our Golden for this trail. Start inside the very end of the O/Melveny Park, and continue all the way to the top - three trees -, then either same way down, or the single trail. Our kids 6 & 8 can pump this one up too! Good excercise for the entire family.

This hike great when it's not noon in the summer. It's a challenge for most fitness levels as you can take either the longer fire road, or the more direct and steep single track. There just isnt much cover from the sun, but then again if you're out for an hour or two a cap will probably suffice. This trail can also be reached from O'Melveney park down the street off of sesnon.
