This was the first hike I have been on in a long time. I had a BLAST!!! I recommend hiking with a person who has done it before because at times the trail was hard to find. For first-timers this one is perfect. I went during the winter so I didn't have to be on guard for snakes and poison oak. Didn't see any mountain goats but it is said that there is a herd in the area. If you make it to the bridge, it is a nice spot to stop for lunch (or maybe dry your socks!) or you can keep going around the corner. I can't wait to hike this trail again! - C.
